Learn how to increase accessibility and joy through digital spaces while having some fun along the way!

Join us on Zoom for A New Way Forward Virtual Series: Intentional Hybrid and Online Joyful Spaces.

Since the "great pivot" of the pandemic moved programs and events online, we saw virtual spaces increased accessibility for numerous communities. However, as the pandemic wanes, the move to exclusively in-person programming seems to forget about the benefits of accessibility and inclusion. Often leaders cite limited capacity and budget to create quality hybrid spaces and the lack of "human connection" in fully online events.

However, a new way forward is possible for inclusive and intentional online spaces that center joy and human connection! Learn from Omé (they/them, she/her, Omé ), nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, and DJ, with their "Multi-Multi" approach: multi cultural, multi generational, multi sexual, multi gender, multi media, and multi access. See how they use the power of arts in online spaces at Dulce Upfront (a muti access space serving as a best practice in San Jaquin Valley) along with other promising examples and a step by step Multi-Access Digital Toolkit.

No matter your budget, capacity, technology skills, or space - Omé will help you increase accessibility and joy through digital spaces while spinning some records along the way.

They also founded the Royal Jelly Collective, a project under Dulce UpFront that creates a supportive network for female and non-binary DJs and artists.

During the pandemic, Omé innovated by transitioning to virtual event production, managing and creatively directing online fundraisers, summits, and dance parties. Their expertise in virtual engagement has paved the way for advocating a multi-access approach to event production, aiming to create seamless connections between online and in-person experiences. Omé and their team are currently developing a multi-access digital toolkit to support inclusive and equitable environments for social service and social change work.
